A Mission Built on Service

Mobile Loaves & Fishes empowers individuals and communities into a lifestyle of service, supporting neighbors experiencing homelessness through consistent outreach and meaningful connection. Their work goes beyond temporary solutions — it focuses on restoring dignity and creating long-term change.

More Than a Meal

Through their Truck Ministry, volunteers serve Austin 7 nights a week, 365 days a year — providing meals, clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials to those in need. With over 6.5 million meals served, their impact continues to reach thousands across the city.

A Place to Call Home

Their Community First! Village is a powerful example of what’s possible when housing meets community. This master-planned neighborhood offers affordable, permanent housing for individuals coming out of chronic homelessness, creating a supportive environment where people can rebuild their lives with stability and belonging.

Restoring Purpose Through Work

Mobile Loaves & Fishes also believes in the importance of purpose. Through Community Works, individuals are given opportunities to develop skills, earn income, and rediscover their value through meaningful work — all while building lasting relationships.

Why It Matters

With the support of thousands of volunteers, Mobile Loaves & Fishes has become one of Austin’s largest feeding programs and a national model for community-first housing. But beyond the numbers, their work is about something deeper — restoring hope, dignity, and connection for every individual they serve.

Through Cookies for a Cause with Chick-fil-A, 30% of proceeds from every Chocolate Chunk Cookie purchased at participating Austin locations (April 1–30) will go directly to Mobile Loaves & Fishes.
